gosh doesnt time fly....
Well the Herald did the 2008 RBRR. We tried to use the GT6 for the 2009 10CR but the master failed the weekend before. Switched to every reliable Herald but then Nibs fell down the stairs the night before and twisted her knee which meant she could not drive....
In the end myself and Jane meet up with everyone at the last stop! Seemed a shame to waste the ferry tickets....
In 2010 (a terrible year for all sort of reasons....) we tried the RBRR in the GT6, it managed to get to Durham before we gave up with terrible vibrations above 45mph... The problem was a faulty new prop shaft and failed gearbox rear mounting..
2011 we will try to do the 10CR in the GT6. One last try.....
